Wie All Things Digital berichtet, will Apple den Anzeigenanbieter Quattro Wireless für 275 Millionen US-Dollar übernehmen. Bereits vor einigen Wochen übernahm Google, den direkten Quattro Wireless Konkurenten Admob für stolze 750 Millionen. Wobei die Google Übernahme aktuell noch durch die US-Wettbewerbsbehörde geprüft wird.

Quatrro Wireless hat unter anderen Namenhafte Kunden wie Ford, Microsoft, Disney, SAP und die National Football League.

Quattro CEO Andy Miller bestätigte inzwischen die Übernahme durch Apple und er soll so NYT zukünftig als “Abteilungsleiter” direkt Steve Jobs unterstellt sein.
