Wie Apple soeben per Pressemitteilung bestätige, sind es nun offiziell 100.000 Apps im AppStore.
CUPERTINO, California—November 4, 2009—Apple® today announced that developers have created over 100,000 apps for the revolutionary App Store, the largest applications store in the world. iPhone® and iPod touch® customers in 77 countries can choose from an incredible range of apps in 20 categories, including games, business, news, sports, health, reference and travel. In der restlichen Pressemitteilung zitiert Apple einige Entwickler wie EA oder Smule und wiederholt die bereits bekannten Zahlen wie z.B. 2 Milliarden Downloads.
