Wie vom DevTeam versprochen, hat es in der letzten Nacht den neuen Software Unlock für die neue 3.0er Firmware vorgeführt.

Ultrasn0w wird bzw. kann das neue Baseband 04.26.08 entsperren und somit sind ist der Unlock wieder für alle Geräte möglich.

Wie auch yellowsn0w setzt Ultrasn0w natürlich einen vorherigen Jailbreak voraus, die dazu nötigen Programme wie QuickPwn und Pwnage sollen noch heute (nach der Veröffentlichung der 3.0er Firmware) veröffentlicht werden.

Der neue Software Unlock UltraSn0w wird am Freitag veröffentlicht und kann wenn ein Jailbreak möglich ist bzw. wird dann sogar beim iPhone 3G S angewendet werden, da es wie vermutet das gleiche Baseband nutzt. Wann und ob ein Jailbreak beim iPhone 3G S möglich wird ist noch nicht klar!

Only ultrasn0w is going to take til Friday to get pushed out.  All of our other tools should be out pretty soon after the official Apple release.

If you apply our jailbreak when it comes out, you can install ultrasn0w anytime after that.  You obviously won’t have cell service in the meantime, though.

This may in fact be directly applicable to the iPhone 3GS if it can be jailbroken, because it runs the same baseband version.  Whether or not it can be jailbroken is a big question right now!
